Christian Als was given Honorable Mention in UNICEF Photo of the Year 2008 for his feature 'A Childhood Behind Bars' from a Latvia youth prison. The prizewinning series is nine images, but the full 20-image-story can be seen here on greatphotojournalism.

Jacob Ehrbahn has published a photojournalistic book about the struggle for a youth house in Copenhagen. It is a beautiful printed book with 172 coloured photos. It is published in collaboration with the newspaper Politiken.
